See what's new in Salesloft!In this article, we will highlight Salesloft's newest features and functionality. We've grouped these releases into the following product areas: Rhythm & Cadence Channels & Conversations Platform, Data, & CRM Deprecation NoticeRhythm & Cadence Follow-Up if No ReplyFollow-Up if No Reply is an email follow-up reminder that you can set up when you compose an email, helping you to stay on top of communication.Who: This feature is available to all Salesloft users.Where: Follow-Up if No Reply is configured within the email composer by each user.How: While composing an email, click the checkbox at the bottom of the composer to configure the reminder. To learn more, check out the Create Follow-up Task for No Reply Email article.   Play OutcomesPlay Outcomes leverages an underlying influence model to show detailed insights into the performance of Plays over the last 90 days, including key metrics like meeting rate, opportunity rate, win rate, average sales contract, pipeline generated, and revenue generated; and how the changes over time compared to the previous 90 days. Who: This feature is available to all users with access to Plays via Plays: Manage permissions.Where: Play Outcomes can be viewed in the Play overview pages and within Analytics Reports (Content Performance: Plays). Users may need to scroll over to the right to view the influence metrics. How: Check out this Play Outcomes article to learn more about how to measure and interpret the outcomes of your Plays. Channels & Conversations Collaboration LicensesCollaboration Licenses provide users limited access to Conversations, allowing them to view recordings, add comments, and access conversational data without providing full access to the Conversations platform. Who: This feature is available to all Salesloft teams with an Advanced or Premier license. Collaboration licenses are assigned by a team admin.Where: Collaboration Licenses are assigned from the Users Settings. When a user is assigned a Collaboration License, they will have limited access to the Salesloft platform. To learn what is included in the Collaboration experience, check out the Getting Started With Collaboration Licenses article.  How: To learn how to set up Collaboration Licenses, check out Manage User Settings. Conversation User Settings RedesignConversation Settings have been  redesigned to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.Who: This feature is available to all users.Where: Conversation Settings are located under the Communication section of the Settings page.How: Check out the Your Conversations Personal Settings article to learn more about Conversation Settings. Plays can be created and managed by team Admins. Where: Play Actions can be assigned in Play configuration. Once initiated, Plays will appear in the Rhythm Workflow. How: While creating a Play, select the “Add action” button to add an additional Task to the Play.AI Generated Email Step for CadenceLeverage generative AI inside your Cadence Email steps to draft the initial email message with up-to-date buyer context. Reps can efficiently send personalized emails in their Cadence workflow with minimal manual effort, while adhering to messaging guidelines that admins establish for the Cadence step.Who: AI Generated Email StepsSteps are configured by Admins while creating a Cadence.Where: AI Generated Email Steps are enabled while creating a Cadence and will populate information in the email composer while completing the Cadence step.How: AI Generated Email Step for Cadence can be enabled or disabled for the whole Saleloft organization within the Artificial Intelligence settings page. Once enabled, generative AI will research, draft and personalize the Cadence email to the specific buyer. See the Add an Email Step article for more information.Log Missed Calls in the Live FeedWhen a call is missed, a notification will appear in the Live Feed.Who:  Available for all Salesloft users. Where: Available in the Salesloft Live Feed which can be found in-app, in the Salesloft extension, and in Salesloft Mobile.How: In the event that a call is missed, a new notification will appear in the Live Feed telling the seller that they missed a call. The notification will include who called and what number it was from.Account-Based Signals in the Live FeedWhen a third-party signal is received at the account level, it will appear in the Live FeedWho: Available for all Salesloft users. Where: Available in the Salesloft Live Feed which can be found in-app, in the Salesloft extension, and in Salesloft Mobile.How: When an account-based signal is received, a new notification will appear in the Live Feed. The notification will allow users to navigate to the Salesloft account page.Deals & ForecastForecast SettingsWhen creating a Forecast, the Forecast type and metrics will be applied based on segment rather than  the whole organization. This allows for more forecasting customization options and different use cases, such as forecasting by account or opportunity.Who: Forecast is available to teams with  the Premier package. Forecast Settings are configured by Salesloft Admins.Where: Forecast Settings are configured within the Forecast Admin settings page.How: See the Manage Deals Forecast article for more information on how to configure Forecasts. No changes or updates need to be made to existing Forecasts.Platform, Data, & CRMAPI: New OAuth Grant Type for Client CredentialsSalesloft now supports authorization via Client Credentials in addition to Authorization Code when creating a new app to connect third-party systems to Salesloft. Who: Teams with custom/internal integrations who want to make system-to-system requests. Where: Salesloft App Hub How: When creating a new app, admins will have the ability to specify the grant type called "Client Credentials". Will only be available for Private Applications.

It’s designed for Revenue Leaders, including RevOps, Sales Leaders & Managers.Where: Command Center is a part of Salesloft Analytics.How: See the Command Center Overview article to learn more. AI Insight: Objection HandlingThis agent helps scale the process of coaching by identifying reps in need of coaching due to having a low win rate and high objections per deal. Who: Command Center AI Insights are available for all Salesloft license types. It’s designed for Revenue Leaders, including RevOps, Sales Leaders & Managers.Where: AI Insights can be found within Command Center.How: See the Objection Handling AI Insight & Play article to learn more.AI Insight: Stalled DealThis agent helps validate pipeline faster by using historical analysis of deal progression and win rates to identify deals that have sat in any stage for too long so teams can take action before any losses occur.Who: Available to all Salesloft users. Must have Deals configured to leverage Stalled Deals. Deals is only available to Salesforce CRM users. Where: AI Insights can be found within Command Center. The Stalled Deal insight is also visible within the pipeline view in Salesloft Deals.How: See the Stalled Deals Insight & Play article to learn more. AI Insight: Signal ConversionThis agent enriches Seismic and Highspot Plays with data on how the signal impacts conversion rates. For RevOps and admins, the insight is surfaced in Command Center with a prompt to enable related Plays if they are not already in use.  Who: Command Center AI Insights are available for all Salesoft license types. Must have the Seismic and/or Hubspot Integrations set up to leverage this agent. Where: AI Insights can be found within Command Center. The Signal Conversion insight also appears on Seismic and Highspot Plays in the Rhythm workflow.How: See the Signal Conversion AI Insight & Play article to learn more. Rhythm & CadenceRhythm in Salesloft Connect Chrome Extension for Salesforce Users Rhythm is available when using the Salesloft Connect Chrome Extension in Salesforce.Who: Rhythm in Chrome Extension is available to all licenses but requires the use of Salesforce.Where: Rhythm in Chrome Extension can be found within the connect for Salesforce Side Panel.How: Update the Chrome Extension to the most recent version to start using Rhythm in the Chrome Extension.Open the side panel within Salesforce to view and run Rhythm tasks. To learn more, check out the Salesloft Connect for Salesforce article. Review Record in PlaysReview Record is available as an action in Plays. In addition to the Stalled Deals Play, Review Record can be used in any Play to prompt a seller or manager to review a deal, update information, or log notes in response to a signal. The task is then assigned to a manager so they can review the record and follow up.Who: Plays can be created and managed by team Admins. This feature is available to all Salesloft users with an Essentials, Advanced or Premier license.Where: Play Actions can be assigned in Play configuration. Once initiated, Plays will appear in the Rhythm Workflow. How: While creating a Play, select the Review Record action.Time Block Action in PlaysA Play that prompts you to block time off on your calendar to complete important tasks related to your Deals like building pipeline, reviewing account news, or completing a handoff after a deal is closed. such as handoffs, direct calendar invites for prospecting, alignment meetings.Who: Plays can be created and managed by team Admins. This feature is available to all Salesloft users with an Essentials, Advanced or Premier license.Where: Play Tasks can be assigned in Play configuration. Once initiated, Plays will appear in the Rhythm Workflow. How: While creating a Play, select the Time Block Action. Note: users must sync their calendar to Salesloft to use the Time Block Action. Review Scorecard Action in PlaysReview Scorecard is available as an action within Plays. By prompting reviews of seller conversations directly in Rhythm, sales managers can more efficiently coach their reps and provide feedback to their team at scale.Who: Plays can be created and managed by team Admins. This feature is available to all Salesloft users with an Advanced or Premier license. Where: Play Actions can be assigned in Play configuration. Once initiated, Plays will appear in the Rhythm Workflow. How: While creating a Play, select the Review Scorecard action.Deals & ForecastSearch Ability in Hierarchy Visibility Settings in ForecastSearch for individual users directly in the hierarchy table, with matching results highlighted for easy viewing — no need to expand each level. Who: Search Ability in Hierarchy Visibility Settings in Forecast is available for Salesloft admins with access to Forecasts. Forecast is available to teams with Premiere licenses. To leverage Forecast, teams must be connected to Salesforce CRM. Where: Navigate to Forecast, then click on the Admin tab, then click General Settings and then Deal Forecasts. From there scroll down to Hierarchy Visibility and click the Edit button.How: U the search bar at the top of the Hierarchy Visibility settings page to enter the name of the user you are looking for. Scrolling Enhancement on Forecast PageThe Forecast Hierarchy Table now has a new scrolling pattern that lets you scroll and view the entire table on one page. Who: Scrolling Enhancement on Forecast Page is available for Salesloft users with access to Forecast. Forecast is available to teams with Premiere licenses. To leverage Forecast, teams must be connected to Salesforce CRM.Where: In the Forecast Hierarchy Table within your Forecast Dashboard. How: Scrolling on the Hierarchy table will allow you to view the whole table. Add Search to Advanced FiltersThe advanced filters on the Deals Pipeline table are now searchable.Who: Add Search to Advanced Filters is available for Salesloft users with access to Deals. Deals is available to teams with Advanced and Premiere licenses. To leverage Deals, teams must be connected to Salesforce CRM. Where: Add Search to Advanced Filters can be found by clicking on the Workspaces tab and selecting Deals. From here, click on the Advanced Filters icon to be able to search.How: Inside the Advanced Filters window, use the Search bar to type the name of a filter. Select the appropriate filters and click Save.   Deal Access Permission: Role LevelA role-based permission that enables/disables Deals for specific role types. If disabled for a role, it will remove Deals from the navigation for said users of that role type.Who: Deal Access Permission: Role Level is available by default to standard Admin and User roles. Custom Roles with the Deal Access Permissions may be configured by Salesloft Admins.Where: The Deal Access Permission can be enabled or disabled while configuring user roles.How: To add the Deals Access Permission to a custom role, follow these steps: Create a new role. The new role will appear in your Role Settings listview From the Roles Settings listview, select the role name to edit the role. You’ll land on the role permissions page Search “deals” in the permissions search.  Confirm the Deals Access permission toggle is set to “On” (blue).  Deals Advanced Date FiltersWhen you add a Date field to a Pipeline Dashboard, you can filter by  custom dates and preset date periods.Who: Deal Advanced Date Filters is available for Salesloft users with access to Deals. Deals is available to teams with Advanced and Premiere licenses. To leverage Deals, teams must be connected to Salesforce CRM. Where: The Deals Advanced Date Filter can be found inside a Pipeline Dashboard. Navigate to the Pipeline Dashboard by clicking on the Workspaces tab and selecting DealsHow:  To add a date filter, follow these steps: Go to your Pipeline Dashboard and select the funnel icon to open Advanced Filters.  Find a date filter.  In the filter options, select Customer Date Range.  Select a start range using the calendar menu. Select an end date. Channels & ConversationsSupport More Transcript LanguagesSalesloft Conversations transcripts now support nine additional languages including:Danish Portuguese Swedish Vietnamese Polish Romanian Turkish Ukrainian RussianWho: Additional Transcript Languages are available for all users with access to Salesloft Conversations.Where: Additional Transcript Languages can be found within Salesloft Conversations.How: See the Conversation Transcript help article to learn more about Salesloft Conversations.Download Conversations Role-based PermissionA role-based permission that when enabled allows users to download a Conversation transcript, video, or audio. Who: The permission can be enabled for all users. It is defaulted ON for User, Admin, and Custom roles.Where: The Download Conversations Permission can be enabled or disabled while configuring user roles.How: To add the Download Conversations Permission to a custom role, follow these steps: Create a new role. The new role will appear in your Role Settings listview From the Roles Settings listview, select the role name to edit the role. You’ll land on the role permissions page Search “conversations” in the permissions search.  Confirm the Download Conversations permission toggle is set to “On” (blue).  Conversation Video Player UpdatesIntroduces several enhancements to the video player used within Conversations including a minimized video mode.Who: Conversation Video Player Updates are available for all Salesloft users with access to Conversations.Where: The Conversation Video Player can be found within Salesloft Conversations.How: Learn more about the Conversations Video Player in the View Conversations Video and Audio Recordings articleTemplate Page EnhancementsThe following enhancements have been made to the template pages: Ability to sort by Clicks, Opens, Replies, and Owner New column for Last Used. You can sort by Last Used.  Tag filters are now at the top of the page only, not in the left hand side bar.  Added Archived Templates filterWho: Template Page Enhancements are available to all Salesloft users.Where: The Templates Page can be found by clicking on Content at the top of the screen and then selecting either Template.How: Learn more in the Templates Page article. Platform, Data, & CRMConfigurable Analytics MetricsConfigurable Metrics gives Salesloft admins the ability to configure a particular metric (or set of metrics) to better align to their organization’s definitions. Users with the proper permissions will now have more control over how the Connected Calls, Meetings Attended, Meetings Booked and Positive Calls metrics are attributed within Salesloft.Who: Configurable Analytics Metrics can only be configured by a Salesloft admin but apply to the whole Salesloft instance.Where: Configurable Metrics can be managed from the Configurable Metrics settings page.How: See the Manage Configurable Metrics help article for more information.Visibility for Connected IntegrationsSalesloft will now show a list the third-party integrations that are connected to your Salesloft instance, and admins now have the ability to revoke access to these apps.Who: Visibility for Connected Integrations is available for all Salesloft users and admins, though only admins have the ability to revoke access to integrations.Where: The list of connected integrations can be found on the Integrations page in Settings.How: To learn more, check out the Salesloft Integrations article for admins and Set Up Your Profile - Manage Connected Apps for users. Opportunities APIDevelopers can view and manage opportunities via Salesloft’s public API. This allows customers with a custom CRM to import their Opportunity data into Salesloft.Who: Opportunities API is available to all Salesloft customers and is designed for customers without out-of-the-box CRM integrations..Where: Opportunities API can be managed from the Developer’s portal.  How: See the article in the developers portal for more information.Account and People List EnhancementsThe following enhancements have been made to the Account and People Lists: Ability to manage columns on the people list and account list Ability to filter by hot leads on people listWho: Account and People List Enhancements are available to all Salesloft users.Where: The Account and People lists can be found by clicking on Contacts at the top of the screen and then selecting either Accounts or People.How: To edit columns, follow these steps: Select the Edit Column button found on far right side of the filter row. The Customize Columns window will appear.  Search for fields or scroll through the list to select or deselect the available fields. Once a field is selected, it will appear in the Field Order side of the window.  Rearrange the order of your fields so they are in your preferred order.  To rearrange the fields, hover over a field name, click and hold the field title, then drag the field to the spot in the order. Once it's in the correct spot, release the field. You can remove a field from the list by clicking the cancel button to the right of the field name. Things to Note: If you have selected a Display By filter, that column will appear first in the report by default.  Click Apply.  Once the settings are applied, save your view so you can access the report again and again. Assign Managers to Salesloft Users Assign managers to your Salesloft users to create powerful revenue workflows in the Command Center. With managers assigned, automatically assign a Review Conversation Play to the manager when their rep receives too many objections in a meeting. Or assign a Review Record Play if a manager’s rep has too many stalled deals. The Pipeline view in Deals also includes a new feature to filter for your Manager Hierarchy.Who: Salesloft users with the “manage team” permission Where: Settings > UsersHow: In User Settings, edit a single user or select multiple users and then assign another user as their manager. If you are a Salesforce connected Team, your manager hierarchy will automatically sync from CRM. DriftMessage Inspector in Chat Data ReportThe Message Inspector in the Chat Data Report allows you to understand where site visitors are interacting with your Playbooks by inspecting messages on the chat data page, creating better visibility not only for Bionic responses, but also for the entire playbook end to end.Who: Drift CustomersWhere: The Message Inspector is found within the Chat Data report.How: Click on a message in the Chat Data report to inspect it.Control Over the Source URL to be Used in Bionic ChatbotsSource Improvement allows users to correct the underlying source that the Bionic bot generates its responses from so that it can redirect users to the best possible page and quickly and accurately gather the correct context from which to answer site visitor inquiries.Who: Drift CustomersWhere: Drift AI Response Testing page and Chat ReportHow: Click on “Bad Response” - “Use a different source” and select the source URL where the response is availableOff Topic Training WorkflowYou can now mark questions as off topic and the bot will not answer those questions the next time it’s asked, or they will be able to instruct the bot to answer a question from the knowledge base if it incorrectly categorized the inquiry as off topic.Who: Drift Bionic Chat Customers.Where: AI Responses Testing PageHow: if it should be off topic - thumbs down > off topicif it should be on topic - thumbs down > should have answered the questionDrift Video ​​Notice of DeprecationIn January 2025, Salesloft will deprecate Drift Video. Role-level Conversations Access Permission: role-based permission that enables/disables Conversations for specific role types.Who: The Conversations Access Permissions are accessible to Salesloft admins.Where: The Conversations Access Permissions can be found on the Roles Settings page.How: Learn more in the Roles and Permissions article.Google Granular PermissionsTo ensure users are successfully connected to all areas of Google, a new banner has been added to remind users to "select all" permissions when connecting to Google and send an alert if any permissions have been left off.Who: Salesloft users connected to Google (email, calendar, and Google Meet).Where: The banner appears when configuring your email, calendar, and Google Meet.How: When configuring your email, calendar, and Google Meet, the banner will appear to remind you to select all permissions. To learn more check out the How does Salesloft connect to Google Workspace? article. MobileThe features included in the Mobile section all fit the following criteria:Who: Available to users who have downloaded the Salesloft Mobile App version 1.18.11 and later.Where: The Salesloft Mobile App is available on iOS and Android.Add Notes/Log Meeting Notes on MobileAdd functionality to the Salesloft Mobile app that allows users to create and display notes assigned to specific contacts.How: Follow these steps to add notes to a contact record:Access a contacts profile Scroll to the new Notes card under Recent Activities View existing notes Create a new note by clicking the “+” icon DriftIntelligent Search - Feedback LoopEasily correct wrong answers from Intelligent Search responses with the new Intelligent Search Feedback Loop. An arrow to select the next month in our date picker has been moved back onto the form instead of appearing off the page. Clicking on a Salesloft email button in Salesforce will now only pop open the Salesloft email pane instead of both Salesloft and Salesforce.   Creating a call task will now be blocked for users in a Do Not Call status. Rescheduling a task was preventing the ability to choose a date from the next month, that’s now fixed. Fixed an issue where you were not able to update call settings while in a call.  Switching your headphone and microphone mid call is now possible. “Schedule All” and “Complete All” are not working correctly with updated messaging. “Log and Complete” was repositioned to no longer block key areas of the CRM screen.Version 1.4.2Submitted on Nov 27, 2024 Bug FixesFixed an issue that was causing an internal service error when lofting emails for some users. See what's new in Salesloft!In this article, we will highlight Salesloft’s newest features and functionality. We’ve grouped the releases into the following Product areas:Rhythm Cadence Deals and Forecast Channels and Conversations Platform and CRM Salesloft Chrome Extension (Early Access)RhythmPlays Dynamic Task AssignmentDynamic Task Assignment offers the ability to assign a task in a play action to a specific owner. Assignment options include Signal Assignment (default option), Salesloft record Owner, and Account User Relationship.Who: This feature is accessible to Salesloft admins and roles with the Plays: Manage permission enabled. Where: Dynamic Task Assignment can be found when setting up a Play. Navigate to Settings > Workflow > Plays.How: Learn how to add the Task Assignment when you Create a Play. Task Expiration for PlaysTasks created from Plays include an expiration date. Plays default to 5 calendar days. This helps to maintain a relevant, timely user experience in the Rhythm Focus Zone.Important: With the release of Task Expiration, any actions created by Plays that are more than 14 days overdue will automatically expire. This release will NOT impact Cadence steps or manually created one-off tasks.Who: All Salesloft Users. Once connected, users can access the Salesloft Dialer to place calls. How: Connect Your Zoom Phone Account to Salesloft and Manage the Zoom Phone Dialer IntegrationPlatform and CRMCustomize People List CSV Export & Import ImprovementsCustomize People List CSV Export gives users more flexibility to export critical person data from Salesloft. These improvements include:Users can choose which fields they want to export from both standard and custom fields.  The ability to  add/remove/change the order of which the data shows up in the resulting CSV . Filter for specific imports from the source (imported from: CRM, CSV, Manual), user (Imported by), and date (Imported on). Who: All Salesloft UsersWhere: Customize People List CSV Export & Import Improvements can be found by navigating to the People tab > Export. It also adds a banner to indicate if a team/user is connected to a  Salesforce Sandbox Org via our new banner.Who: Display CRM Org information is available for all CRMs. The Sandbox Banner is only available for Salesforce CRM users.Where: The CRM Org Information can be found on the CRM settings page. This release also automatically creates Person and Account Stages in Salesloft when we receive an unrecognized option from the CRM. Auto-created Stages are added as Inactive Stage values.Who: Managing Stage settings inside Salesloft Field Configuration is available to Salesloft Admins by default and roles with the Manage Field Configuration Permission enabled.Where: Account Stages can be managed inside the Field Configuration settings inside the Account Fields.Person stages can be found in Field Configuration settings inside the Person Fields.How: Learn how to manage and activate stages in Edit Stage Settings.Feature PreviewFeature preview gives you the ability to opt-in or opt-out of new features that have been pushed to your team before they are officially released to all teams.Who: All Salesloft Users.Where: Feature Preview can be enabled by navigating to Settings > Profile settings > Preferences.How: Learn more in Feature Preview.License ManagementLicense Management gives you the ability to edit a single user’s license in the User’s table as well as the ability to bulk update multiple user licenses. The User’s table contains added visibility into license consumption. The Conversations Recording toggle has been split into the Conversations and Create Recordings columns. The Conversation column identifies each user’s Conversation’s access status. The Create Recordings toggle is where admins can enable and disable the ability to create Recordings for Conversations. Who: Salesloft Admins.Where: You can access the User’s table by navigating to Settings > Team > Users.How: Learn more in Manage Users.Salesloft Chrome Extension (Early Access)Inbound Call NotificationsThis feature adds the ability for users to Accept or Reject an inbound call directly from the pop out dialer window without having to interact with Chrome notifications.Who: All Salesloft users who are using the new Salesloft Connect Early Access version.Where: Open the pop out dialer window to receive an inbound call and see the new buttons.How: Learn more in Salesloft Chrome Extension Overview (Early Access).Moveable Salesloft ButtonThis feature adds the ability for users to change the position of the Salesloft button while viewing content in their extension sidebar. Click, hold and drag the Salesloft button to a new position while in your CRM or Gmail. Who: All Salesloft users who are using the new Salesloft Connect Early Access version.Where: The extension sidebar is available in Gmail or your preferred CRMHow: Along with the Salesloft extension, A Salesloft-specific button is embedded inside your CRM. This button allows you to leverage Salesloft features, like the side panel with Salesloft Person details, Cadences, and Tasks.This button, represented by the green Salesloft "S," appears in your CRM once the extension has been downloaded. By default, the button is located in the lower right corner of your CRM. You can slide the location of the icon up and down the right side of your CRM page - this is particularly helpful to move around CRM content, scroll bars, and even other extensions. To adjust the location of the Salesloft extension button, click, hold, and drag it where you want it to go.  A movement bar will display on hover to help with discoverability,  but you can click anywhere to get it to move.If the button is moved on tab 1 of a CRM’s page and you open tab 2, the location will be the same.Things to Note: The button will sync across all tabs after the page has been refreshed. The position of the button will be remembered unless a full restart of Chrome occurs.
