Hey Champions! Brynja here - Your Community Manager! 👋🏼 Cadences allow you and your team to configure personalized touch points to engage buyers. But, what’s the best way to track whether or not your reps are actually following through with their cadences? Check out the Salesloft Best Practice linked below that our team wrote, which highlights the number of prospects added by reps, viewing overdue steps, reviewing calls by reps, and more! Measure Cadence Accountability in Salesloft 🤓 What are your thoughts? Are there other ways you go about it?
In the cadences i run, 2,3 or 5 step/email cadences - i always thread all follow ups or steps under the subject/thread of the first email.I would like to know if people/users have received better responses with new subject lines for the follow up emails instead of threading them. For example - i could be talking about a suite of products under one umbrella offering but then choose to have different subjects per new product follow up. or new subject for each new use-case follow up
I’ve been trying to create a type of round robin automated greeting for each of my contacts I am emailing on cadences, but I have not been able to make it work with the suggested Dynamic Fields {first.name] + Snippets. Could you please help me with this. Examples of a greeting + snippet: 1- Dear Scott, I’m reaching out with great respect for your time and focus.2- Hello Michael, trust this message finds you well.3- Andres, this seemed like the perfect bridge to finally tell you that you've been on my thoughts. Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated.Cory
How many people can I BCC on one email?
All my emails are bouncing and I’m not seeing any of my emails being sent in my outlook.
I have a few cadences where I want to A/B test the subject line in the first email. I then have 3 additional emails but when I choose ‘thread’ it only gives the option for ‘A’ in the previous email and not B. What happens when I launch the cadence? Will everyone getting the additional emails get threaded to the A option only (even if they receive the B option for the first email)? TIA!
Question why did we move the Succes button, think this needs to be a quick step. Not going to the dots and mark it like it now.
Has anyone ever set up an Email Cadence, but i need the subject line of each email sent to be different and not show up in the recipient’s email as RE:
I was unable to find an existing help article on this topic. We have a BDR out on leave. I’d prefer not to change the Salesforce flow to have all their leads be assigned to another team member. I’d prefer to use salesloft to process the re-assignment. Any best practices for managing team members out of office? If the best practice is to edit the source assignment rule then I’ll work with our SF admin.
Hi fellow Lofters - I’m a Salesloft admin for my org and I wanted to see how other admins and users might navigate this “issue.”Our org has established a domain send limit and it sometimes frustrates reps as they are trying to engage their prospects/customers (and especially multithread). A particular problem some reps have is not knowing when/why they’ve hit our daily domain limit.Has anyone else found a way to easily investigate how many cadence emails are being sent to a particular domain? Perhaps a Salesforce report?Curious to hear how other Salesloft teams are helping their reps with this.
Hi all, I’m looking for some feedback on these questions:How long (period of time) are your cadences to prospects? How long (length of email) are your messages to prospects? What have you found to be helpful in getting high open rates and replies? Thanks for your help!V/r,Neville
Hi allWe have a high volume of personal cadences and would like to create a library of Team Cadences in 25’. Our challenge is we don’t have a copywriter who can write these. We have SME’s in Product Marketing but they don’t have experience writing sales emails. I'm wondering how other people are creating team cadences at scale. Is it sales-owned? SDR/BDR Managers? Marketing? A combination of everyone pitching in? We’re a large, multinational organization with a complex product so would be particularly interested in people working in similar types orgs who also don’t have one person creating cadences for the sales org. Thanks, everyone.
I’m seeking best practices for implementing and tracking multi-threading in Salesloft for BDR/SDR team. The parent cadence will have steps the team member doesn’t need to complete on a multi-thread. I’m not certain I want the BDR skipping steps, so I’m considering adding separate cadences that are “linked” to the parent cadence so we can track the implementation and activity of additional people at a company. One of the workspace cadence groupings is by account, so the BDR will have an efficient way to see all steps for an account. Any feedback and suggestions would be much appreciated!
Hi all, I have a question about the email layout in cadences. As soon as I try to add mutable pictures, I struggle to get a nice layout as I would get in Outlook direct. Has anybody ideas how I can import, add nice email layouts to cadences in SalesLoft? Thanks
I tend to start off outbound cadences with text emails and then during the cadence steps add links. I Get good views but wanted to get feedback from others on what works best for them with building out cadences targeting new prospects.
Personalization increases success, without a doubt.Where I’ve had issues in the past is being able to enforce it or draw rep’s attention to the fact that they should be personalizing in their cadences or templates. The lovely team at Salesloft informed me that a great and quick way to do this is by creating a custom field called Personalize Here, not mapping it to anything, and then adding to emails where you want reps to personalize. When they attempt to send the email without personalizing, they’ll get an error because the variable isn’t pulling anything in.Definitely not foolproof, as they could remove it, but at least they get the automated guidance that they should be personalizing in-app in real time.
Has anyone implemented a single team cadence for a post-webinar follow up for both registered and actual attendees? We’d like to provide different messaging to each group on the first step. I was looking at leaving the email step blank and offering two templates for our reps to insert, depending on the lead. Any other ideas?

I’d love to hear some best practices on handling a sales cadence that may not involve the end customer until later in the sales funnel
Is it possible for a focal point in SalesSoft to reuse a digital Sales’s cadence built from another sales in previous time?
Hi All, How do you motivate your SDRs to actively engage in and become obsessed with analysing cadence performance in SalesLoft?I'm looking for strategies or best practices that have worked for others to encourage our SDRs to take ownership of their outreach and improve their results through data-driven insights.
Sara here, Enterprise Customer Manager going on 4 years here at Salesloft. As we know cadences are those structured touchpoints designed to engage prospects and move them through the sales funnel. We often share with customers that effective sales cadence integrates different communication channels and timing and we drive the importance of completed steps when they are due. *It’s hard to know if a cadence is being effective or at what points are we converting when the Day 3 step happens 2 weeks after it was supposed to We have found there are two ways to help reps stay on tasks: Set a daily goal/target for how many people reps are adding to a cadence every day. If reps start to add 100s of people every day to a cadence, completing those and future steps on time is going to be challenging and ultimately leave you with reps feeling overwhelmed. Good starting place - adding 15 to 25 people per day As managers, keep an eye on their due/overdue tasks. There are a couple of places where y
I love discovering new tips and tricks in Salesloft, so I’m curious if anyone has some great workarounds to share? One of my favorites is inserting the current day using the time dynamic field “{{n_business_days_from_now}}".Did you know you can change the "n" to "0" to insert the current day? It's an awesome way to add a bit more personalization to your emails by including the current date automatically. 🔥 What are some of your favorite tricks or workarounds? I’d love to hear them!
Step one to building an amazing cadence is to figure out the actions you perform consistently. Which sounds easy enough until you sit down and try to write it out. There can be a lot of variables with cadence creation (who is your buyer? What stage in the sales cycle are you in? How seasoned are your sellers? What should step 1 be?) If you find your team is having a tough time getting started with creating cadences, you need a launching point, and that’s where Cadence Frameworks can be helpful. Cadence Frameworks are pre-built cadence structures. The Salesloft team took a look at the most common types of cadences and studied what types of steps worked best to reach success. Using this information, they then built Cadence Frameworks that serve up which actions you should take and when. Leveraging cadence frameworks takes a lot of the guessing game out of cadence creation. With a solid foundation in place, you can focus on sharing the right message to drive your business forward. A/B Testing, also known as split testing, is like a friendly competition between two versions of a webpage, email, or marketing asset. Imagine creating two different pitches and seeing which one your audience loves more. By showing version A to one group and version B to another, you can compare the results to see which one gets more engagement, clicks, or sales. For sellers, incorporating A/B testing into your Cadence workflow allows you to make data-driven decisions, understand what really resonates with your customers, and fine-tune your strategies for maximum impact. Before you dive into A/B testing and add experiments across your cadences, there are methods you should consider to gain the most value from split testing, like only testing one piece of criteria at a time instead of 10. We get it, testing 10 things at once sounds efficient, but you’ll be left guessing what your winning criteria item was. Here’s a look at best practices that show you how to use A/B Testing in your pr
