See what's new in Salesloft!

In this article, we will highlight Salesloft's newest features and functionality. We've grouped these releases into the following product areas:

 

Rhythm & Cadence

 

Extend Assignment in Plays - Opportunity Owner and Record Owner’s Manager

Plays can be assigned to the Opportunity Owner and the Record Owner’s Manager for teams to configure plays that match your desired processes.

Who: Plays can be created and managed by team Admins. This feature is available to all Salesloft users with an Essentials, Advanced or Premier license.

Where: Play Tasks can be assigned in Play configuration. Once initiated, Plays will appear in the Rhythm Workflow. 

How: While creating a Play, assign the Play Task to the Opportunity Owner or the Record owner’s Manager.

Add People From Account to Cadence Task Type

Users are now able to add people from Accounts to cadences using Account-based signals from partners like G2 and Drift. This provides a higher level view of the Account and its critical happenings.

Who: Plays can be created and managed by team Admins. All users can run this play type. This feature is available to all Salesloft users with an Essentials, Advanced or Premier license.

Where: Play Tasks are an available action within Plays configuration. Once initiated, Plays will appear in the Rhythm Workflow. 

How: While creating a Play with an Account signal, you can choose the “Add to Cadence” task as the assigned action when a signal is received. 


Channels & Conversations

Dialer Settings Updates

The Dialer Settings have been updated with a new app structure. The new structure includes a tab dedicated to Phone Numbers where you can provision and assign numbers, the Live Call Studio setting is now under General Dialer settings, and the Dialer Keypad setting is visible. 

Who: Admins and users with the “Manage Settings for Dialer” permission enabled for their role. 

Where: Settings > Communication > Dialer

Disposition and Sentiment Settings Update

The Disposition and Sentiments Settings pages have been updated to the tabular page format similar to the other Salesloft Settings pages. The “Require dispositions/sentiments to be logged” fields are not toggles instead of the previous checkboxes. 

Who: Admins and users with the “Manage Dispositions and Sentiments ” permission enabled for their role. 

Where: Settings > Communication > Disposition and Sentiment.

Platform, Data, & CRM

Connected Apps Cleanup

In an effort to improve the connected app experience, all integrations with Salesloft must now be connected via an active user. 

Who: Admins and users with the “Manage Frontend Integrations” permission enabled.  

Where: Settings > Administration > Integrations

How: Please review your Salesloft integrations and ensure they are connected via active admins. 

In cases where an integration is enabled via a user that is no longer active, the integration will be disconnected. This may result in an integration being disconnected unexpectedly.

 

Keyboard Shortcuts 

Introducing keyboard shortcuts. Quickly navigate to critical pages within the Salesloft desktop app without using a mouse.

Who: This feature is available to all Salesloft users with an Essentials, Advanced or Premier license.

Where: Across the Salesloft platform.

Roles and Permissions Settings Updates

The Roles and Permissions Setting is now known as “Roles” and it’s listed under the “Team” settings.

Available Roles are listed in a new table that shows the number of users assigned to each role.

The Permissions page now includes toggles and the ability to search permissions.

Who: Available to Admins and users with Manage Roles & Permissions enabled for their role. 

Where: Settings > Team > Roles

Mobile

The features included in the Mobile section all fit the following criteria:

Who: Available to users who have downloaded the Salesloft Mobile App.
Where:  The Salesloft Mobile App is available of iOS and Android.

Rhythm on Mobile

Your Rhythm Dashboard is available in the Salesloft Mobile App to provide you with a consistent experience across all Salesloft platforms.

This update includes the ability to create and manage one-off tasks directly in the app—such as emails or calls— directly from the mobile app

Who: This feature is available to all Salesloft users with an Essentials, Advanced or Premier license.

Where: Within the Salesloft Mobile App

How: Update the mobile app to get the Rhythm Dashboard on your mobile device. 

Things to note: This feature is currently in feature preview.

Mobile Enhancements: 

  • Keypad Visual Feedback: Adds feedback to the Dialer component in the Salesloft Mobile app to indicate when a key is pressed. This update aims to enhance the user experience for field sellers, providing clear visual confirmation of valid touch inputs
  • Text Messenger Sent Confirmations: This feature ensures each text message sent from the Salesloft Mobile App is followed by a confirmation of success or failure.
  • Call History - Associate Phone Numbers to Salesloft Records: Enhance the Call History feature in the Salesloft Mobile App to automatically match and display contact names and accounts for incoming call logs. This eliminates the need to manually search for contact details, logging the call, and then seeing the name and account.
