Prospecting

Account Research for Leads

Generate rich account research for Person Records in Salesloft, even when they aren't linked to a formal account record, by leveraging their company name or URL.

  • Who: The Research Agent is available to Salesloft customers with the Account Agent Add-on, with the Generative Artificial Intelligence setting enabled by their admin.
  • Where: Can be found within the "Research" tab on any Person record.
  • When: This feature is generally available.

Role Permission for AI Knowledge Library

A new dedicated permission now allows non-admin users to manage the AI Knowledge Library, giving Admins greater control over who can govern the content used by AI features.

  • Who: This permission is enabled by default for Salesloft Admins. It can be granted to any role to allow those users to access and manage the AI Knowledge Library settings.
  • Where: The new permission is available in the Roles Settings under a new permissions category titled "Artificial Intelligence".
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: To grant this permission, a System Administrator should navigate to Roles and Permissions, select a role to edit, find "Manage AI Knowledge Library" under "Artificial Intelligence," and enable the permission. To learn more, check out the Manage AI Knowledge Library article.

Workflow, Rhythm, & Cadence

 

Signals in the Activity Feed

Unifies all buyer and seller interactions, including key partner and customer signals, into one chronological feed on the relevant person and account records.

  • Who: The feature is available to all Salesloft users.
  • Where: Located on the Activity tab of the Person and Account Profile pages.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: Navigate to any Person or Account Profile page and click the Activity tab. View the chronological feed, which now includes rich signal events. Click on any signal to expand and view all the associated rich metadata and attributes.

Field Visibility and Required Fields for Outlook

The Outlook Add-In fully respects the Person and Account field visibility and required field settings configured by Admins in the main Salesloft application. This ensures users only see and interact with relevant fields when editing or creating records in Outlook.

Custom Names for Play Tasks

Create custom names for tasks generated by Plays. This allows you to replace generic task titles with clear, actionable instructions, add dynamic tags (like account name) for context, and help your team take the right action faster.

  • Who: Available to Salesloft Admins who build and manage Plays for their teams.
  • Where: When creating or editing a Play, you will find a new "Edit Task" button on any step that generates a task.
  • When: This feature is available and will be rolling out to users over the next few weeks.
  • How: Admins can edit any Play and click the "Edit Task" button on a task-creating step. In the new field, they can write a custom name and insert dynamic tags like {{name}} to automatically populate information. Once saved, any new task created by that Play will appear in the user's Rhythm workflow with the clear, custom title. Note that existing Plays must be updated manually to use this feature. Deals: Upcoming Actions and Meetings in Deals View

The Upcoming Meetings and Upcoming Tasks columns allow you to see all upcoming meetings and tasks for every deal directly from the main Deals list view. This consolidates all scheduled next steps, giving you a complete overview of your pipeline at a glance.

  • Who: Available to all Salesloft users. Users may need to add these columns to their Pipeline View via the Manage Columns icon.
  • Where: This feature is located in the Deals list view. It includes a new "Upcoming Meetings" column and an enhanced "Tasks" column, both of which can be added to your custom layout.
  • When: This feature is available and will be rolling out to users over the next few weeks.
  • How: Go to the Deals view and edit your columns to add the new "Upcoming Meetings" column. Once added, this column—along with the enhanced "Tasks" column—will automatically show all scheduled next steps for each deal. To find opportunities that need attention, simply click the column header to sort your list and bring deals with no upcoming activities to the top. Channels & Conversations

Auto-Record Management View for Zoom Admins

Admins can view the auto-record status for every user and change an individual user’s setting directly from the user management table, enabling them to ensure consistent meeting capture for better coaching, analysis, and compliance.

  • Who: Available to users with Admin permissions and teams using the Zoom video conferencing integration with Conversations.
  • Where: Located on the Zoom User Management table within Settings > Conversations > Video Conferencing Integrations > Manage Zoom Admin.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: To learn how to view and modify the Auto-record setting for Zoom users, check out the Bulk Configure the Zoom API Integration article.

Transcript Export Improvements

Automatically applies a dynamic, descriptive filename and a metadata header with key meeting details to every exported transcript.

  • Who: Available for team Admins and user roles with the Download Conversations permission enabled.
  • Where: Transcripts may be downloaded from the Conversations Recordings list page.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: Check out the Download Conversations Recording Video article to learn more about how to download transcripts and the details included in the downloads.

Email Click & Open Tracking Settings

New email 'click' and 'open' settings allow both admins and individual users to set the default preference for open and click tracking on all emails. This helps you manage tracking to align with compliance needs and improve email deliverability, while still giving you the flexibility to track engagement when you need to.

  • Who: Available to Salesloft Admins to set a team policy, and All Salesloft users for personal control over tracking settings.
  • Where: For Admins: New tracking controls are located in Admin Settings > Email > Tracking. For Users: New personal tracking toggles are located in Personal Settings > Email, under a new "Email Tracking" section.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: Admins can visit their settings to establish a default tracking policy for the entire team and decide if users can override it. Individual users can then go to their personal email settings to set their own preferred defaults for open and click tracking. To learn more, check out the Manage Email Tracking article and the Your Personal Settings article.

Reply Email from Activity Feed

The "Reply Email" button allows you to send follow-up emails directly from the activity feed.

  • Who: Available to all Salesloft users. Must have your email set up in Salesloft.
  • Where: You can find the "Reply Email" button on email activities within the Activity Feed on Person and Account pages.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: When reviewing a Person or Account's Activity Feed, click the "Reply Email" button on any email activity. An email composer will open, pre-filled with the recipient's email and the prior conversation. Simply write your message and send it; the email will be logged to the activity feed automatically. Dialer Calls to Conversations Toggle

This feature enhances security by decoupling call and meeting recording privacy from global sharing settings, ensuring all conversations are sent securely to Conversations.

  • Who: Available to Admins to enable for users.
  • Where: The Dialer Calls to Conversations toggle is located within the Conversations settings page, under the Permissions section.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: Navigate to the Permissions section in Conversations settings and locate the new toggle, “Always upload calls to Conversations.” To learn more about Conversation Settings, check out the Manage Conversations article.

Meeting Prep Shortcut in Google Calendar

The Meeting Prep Shortcut allows you to prepare for your meetings with a single click from your Google Calendar. A new "Meeting Prep" button will automatically appear on your calendar events, acting as a direct shortcut to the relevant Meeting Prep workspace in Salesloft.

  • Who: Available to Salesloft users who use Google Calendar to manage their schedule and Salesloft to prepare for meetings.
  • Where: A new green "Meeting Prep" button will now appear on your scheduled meeting events inside of Google Calendar.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: Open a calendar event and click the "Meeting Prep" button to be taken directly to your preparation workspace for that meeting in Salesloft. Note that this feature is currently available for Google Calendar only. Check out the Prepare for a Meeting Play article for more information.

Data & CRM

Analytics Enhancements

Enhancements to Analytics and Coaching to make reporting more flexible and intuitive. This release includes a new multi-select "Account Name" filter in the Accounts Report, more metric options and a "Daily" timeframe for goal setting, and updated report layouts that prioritize the most useful data.

  • Who: Available to all Salesloft users.
  • Where: The new "Account Name" filter is available in the Accounts Report. Expanded metric and timeframe options can be found in Coaching and Goal Settings. Updated layouts are visible across several reports in the Analytics section.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: To analyze specific accounts, navigate to the Accounts Report and use the new "Account Name" filter. When creating or editing goals in Coaching, you will now see an expanded list of metrics and a "Daily" timeframe option. Check out the Salesloft Analytics and Manage Goals articles to learn more.

Drift

AI Overview Report

The AI Overview Report helps CMOs and marketers get a clear, and quantifiable view of how their Drift AI Agents are performing.

  • Who: Available to Drift Users with Bionic Chatbots enabled.
  • Where: Available in the Reports section of the Drift navigation menu.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: Check out the AI Overview Report article to learn more details on what's in the report.

Platform & Governance

Webhooks for Conversations Events & Emails

Allows developers to build faster, more efficient integrations by pushing full recording, transcript, and email content directly to them via webhooks, eliminating extra API calls.

  • Who: Available to Developers and Integration Partners building custom solutions using the Salesloft API.
  • Where: Available in the Salesloft Developer's Portal.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: See the Webhooks API documentation to learn how to subscribe to Conversations and Email events and start receiving data payloads directly.

 


Mobile

Conversation Playbacks from Activity Feed in Salesloft Mobile

Allows you to listen to call recordings, view synchronized transcripts, and access AI-powered insights directly from the Activity Feed in the Salesloft mobile app.

  • Who: Available to all Salesloft users who have the “Conversations access” permission.
  • Where: This feature is available in the Salesloft mobile app. You can find your recordings in the "Recent Conversations" section on any Person or Account page.
  • When: This feature is generally available.
  • How: Open the Salesloft mobile app and go to a Person or Account. Tap on "Recent Conversations" and select any recording. The playback screen will open, giving you access to the audio player, synchronized transcript, and AI-powered insights. Deprecation Notice

In October 2025, Salesloft will deprecate the following features: 

  • Salesloft will remove the multi-language selector from the Help Center. Following this change, the entire site experience and all article content will be rendered in English only. For the best experience, please use your browser's built-in translation feature or Google Translate.
  • Analytics Panels: The following Analytics panels will be deprecated. In many cases, the data from these panels has been integrated into other, more comprehensive panels.
