Hi, as contacts are owned by several persons of the account team in D365 we have no option to automate the contact ownership in SL. Is there any way with a play that we can update the contact owner to the account owner or any other suggestions  .. I get stuck at this point Would love to see an option to update to current account owner.

This is a great question, and it’s a scenario we see often when teams have a sophisticated ownership model in Dynamics 365.

Currently, Salesloft’s automation rules are designed to sync ownership based on the specific record's owner in the CRM. Because of this, there isn't a native 'out-of-the-box' rule to automatically reassign a Person owner to match the Account owner within the platform today.

The established best practice is to align this data in D365 first. By using a CRM workflow to ensure the Contact owner matches the Account owner, Salesloft will then automatically reflect those changes through the standard CRM Sync. This keeps your data clean and ensures Salesloft remains the single source of truth for your sales engagement.

For those of us managing complex account teams, I’m curious—how are you currently auditing your ownership sync to ensure no leads fall through the cracks?
