A clean signature acts as a "Trust Signal" that proves you are a real professional without making your message look like an automated marketing blast.

Tip: Most prospects read messages on a mobile device. Check your Salesloft signature settings for extra line breaks; hidden gaps can force a "mobile scroll" and make your short email look unnecessarily long.

Workshop: Clean Your Signature

Below is an example of a cluttered, high-friction signature. We will walk through how to declutter this and turn it into a professional signature inside Salesloft.

The "Cluttered" Before Example

John Doe Senior Account Executive | Global Solutions Provider Phone: 555-0199 | Cell: 555-0122 | Fax: 555-0133 [Oversized Company Logo] [LinkedIn Icon] [Twitter Icon] [Facebook Icon] Confidentiality Notice: This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual... (4 more lines of text)

1. Remove Oversized Logos and Images Oversized logos or headshots often fail to load or trigger spam filters. If you must use a logo, ensure it is no larger than a postage stamp. (Insert GIF here: Removing the logo from the Salesloft signature settings)

2. Audit Your Disclaimer Unless strictly required by your legal department for initial emails, remove 5+ lines of legal disclaimers or environmental notes. (Insert GIF here: Highlighting the legal disclaimer and deleting it)

3. Apply the Verification Rule Include only your name, title, and one way to verify your identity. Remove secondary phone numbers, fax numbers, or office addresses. (Insert GIF here: Highlighting name, title, and LinkedIn, then removing the fax number)
