Inbound calls report

Hi guys, has anyone had experience with pulling inbound calls from salesloft into a salesforce report? 

I want a report that shows which calls were inbound vs outbound.

Hi there!

Thanks for asking this—it is a very common question for teams trying to segment their call metrics.

To confirm what you are seeing: Salesloft does not natively push a dedicated "Inbound vs. Outbound" field to the Salesforce Task object for standard calls.

  • The Exception: We typically indicate Inbound Voicemails in Salesforce, so you may be able to filter for those specifically to get partial visibility.

  • The Limitation: Because this data isn't stamped natively at the time of the call, there is unfortunately no way to run a report on the "direction" of calls that have already occurred.

If capturing this differentiation for future calls is a priority for your team, there are some custom configurations we can look into (involving Activity Field mapping), but reportability on past activities is effectively limited to those Inbound Voicemails.
