Activity Tracking for Replies: When we respond to a prospect’s email, it doesn't register as an email activity in the tracking dashboard. Could you clarify why this is happening?

If responding to a prospect’s email does not register as an email activity in the tracking dashboard, there could be several reasons for this issue -- two noted below -- but I would recommend logging a case with our Support Team in order for them to help diagnose the exact problem. 

When contacting Support, please provide links to any example prospect records and any helpful screenshots. 

  • Email Sync Not Enabled: Ensure that Email Sync is enabled. Without this, Salesloft cannot track and log email activities.
  • Email Sent Outside Salesloft: If the email was sent outside of Salesloft, it might not be tracked. Make sure to send emails through Salesloft to ensure they are logged.

 

To check for email sync, navigate to Settings > Email > and verify that the Email Activity Sync section (outbound/inbound sync) is enabled.
