If your team is using Account Team Sync then you’re already on your way to easier account management within Salesloft. Not only does Account Team Sync easily sync your user relationships from Salesforce into Salesloft, you can also use the user relationships throughout the platform in different ways.
Let’s walk through some different ways you can utilize user relationships within the Salesloft platform.
1. User Relationships in Plays
Play Tasks can be assigned by user relationship allowing for more customization of your Plays.
Set the Task Assignment to “Account User Relationships, fallback to record owner.” Then, you can select the account user who needs to perform the task.

2.User Relationships in Automation Rules
Automation Rules can utilize account team roles as criteria allowing for a wider range of options when configuring your automation rules.
Any Account Team Member relationship can be used for assignment of Cadence Steps. Account Team Membership can also be used as Automation Rule Criteria.

3. User Relationships in Filters
The filters on the People and Account pages allow the ability to filter by Account Team role.
Account views can be filtered by a new Owner filter ‘Your Related Accounts’ determined by Users who are Accounts Team Members but not the Owner of the Account record
Users can add a filter to Person or Account list views based on a Team Member Role not being defined, being an Unmapped User, or a specific Salesloft User.
