Hi everyone,

At my organization, we have a weekly KPI for our BDRs to add 5–10 net new accounts into sequence per AE. By net new, I mean accounts that aren’t currently active in any other sequence—essentially, fresh accounts being introduced into outbound efforts each week.

We’re having a hard time figuring out how to track this in Salesloft. I’m aware of the “People Added” metric, which is great for tracking contacts, but I’m looking for the equivalent on the account level.

The “Accounts Engaged” metric doesn’t quite help here, as it includes any accounts with activity, including those where BDRs are just following up with the sequence steps. We specifically want to measure whether BDRs are consistently replenishing their outreach pipeline with new targets.

This feels like a pretty fundamental KPI. Am I missing something obvious? Or has anyone figured out a good workaround?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Dani!

Alex from Salesloft here - I’m a Customer Success Manager to help our customers with these types of questions.

A few clarifying questions here:

  1. Are you looking for a solution for managers to track whether a rep has added 5-10 accounts?
  2. Are you looking for a solution for reps to identify net new accounts?

Thanks!
