Hi-

I notice when I click on an email within my inbox I receive a notification stating the account just opened the email I sent. Is there a way to only receive those notifications when the intended account opens the email only?

Hey there! Great question-- Happy to weigh in here.

First up: We have measures in place to block internal opens from registering. However, based on what you are saying here, there may be something else going on preventing your own opens from being blocked. 

A couple things to try:

  • If you are using Gmail: Make sure you have the Salesloft Chrome extension installed and running on the latest version. Also make sure that your Chrome is up-to-date.
  • If you are using Outlook: If you are in an office setting or work from home using a VPN, you need to loop in your Salesloft admin and your IT team to ensure that your office or VPN IP's are excluded from open tracking. If you are using Outlook at home without a VPN, Salesloft should be dynamically capturing your IP address to exclude your personal email clicks from tracking.

If you have confirmed the above settings, try logging out of Salesloft and logging back in. If the problem persists, then feel free to open a ticket with our Support team via the Help Center.
